FOREST COUNTY (WAOW) -- A man in Forest County has been arrested for his 9th OWI.
Christian Soman of Crandon, 49, was stopped Friday, June 5th, shortly after 9pm for failing to stop for an emergency vehicle and speeding.
This happened on State Highway 54, just west of Airport Road near Wabeno in Forest County.
When talking to him, the officer could smell alcohol and it was determined Soman was under the influence of alcohol after he attempted to perform a sobriety test.
He was then arrested for his 9th Operating While Intoxicated offense.
Soman was charged with a felony in a Forest County courtroom Monday, June 8th.
He appears in court again for a preliminary hearing July 1st.
