WAOW - Newsline 9, Wausau News, Weather, SportsRiver Drive & Forest Street remain closed after molasses spill

WAUSAU (WAOW) -- A tanker truck carrying molasses has overturned on Forest Street near Wausau Center Mall.
The Marathon County Sheriff's Department says River Drive and Forest Street are closed near the scene.
Authorities are asking you to avoid the area and use Thomas or Bridge Street instead.
Police haven't announced when River Drive and Forest Street will reopen.
No injuries are reported.
Crews are cleaning up a sticky mess of 48,000 pounds of molasseses. The Wisconsin Department of Natual Resources is at the scene to make sure the molasses doesn't seep into the Wisconsin River.
