WAOW - Newsline 9, Wausau News, Weather, SportsVolleyball state tournament update: Newman wins, Auburndale loses

GREEN BAY (WAOW) -- Three teams from our area are playing in the volleyball state tournament in Green Bay.
Newman Catholic defeated Highland in the Division 4 semifinals 3-2. Emily Schuster had 16 kills and twin sister Andrea had 17. Newman Catholic lost game one 16-25 and game two 9-25 but game back to win game three 25-16, game four 25-22 and game five.
Newman plays McDonell Central in the championship game Saturday at 10 a.m.
Auburndale lost to Cuba City in the Division 3 semifinals 3-0. They lost game one 25-17, game two 25-16 and game three 25-5.
Russ Owens is in Green Bay and will have hilights and post on Newsline 9 at 6 and 10.
Tomahawk plays Catholic Memorial at 4 p.m.
