Man convicted in Utah bombings arrested in Minn.

WIND LAKE, Wis. (AP) - A 41-year-old man who served time in prison for a string of bombings in Utah in the 1990s has been arrested in southeastern Wisconsin after a report of domestic abuse.

Sean Riker was being held in the Racine County Jail on Wednesday after his wife and children went to the Racine County Sheriff's Department to report they were abused by him.

Deputies barricaded Riker's street Tuesday afternoon and took him into custody without incident. A sawed-off shotgun was reported recovered in the home.

Formal charges are expected Thursday.

Court records show that in 1997 Riker was convicted in Utah of detonating pipe bombs at a store, auto dealership and an elementary school - earning him the nickname of the "St. George Bomber."

He was sent to federal prison and released in October 2008. Riker's family apparently moved to Wind Lake a week ago.
