MARATHON COUNTY (WAOW) -- A Minnesota man is in the Marathon County jail this morning after he fled the scene of an attempted murder.
Investigators say the 34 year old stabbed a person in Hennepin County, MN. The Twin Cities are located in that county.
Marathon County sheriff's deputies got the call from the Brooklyn Center Police Department around 2:00 AM, saying the man might be in the area.
A deputy found the man in his car just before 3:00 AM on U.S. Highway 51 South near County Highway NN in Rib Mountain.
He was taken into custody and is awaiting charges.
