WISCONSIN RAPIDS (WAOW)--Several Wood County government agencies and schools are working together to keep community members informed.
They’re using a new program that posts alerts by email and test messages. They expect to use the system to alert residents about missing children, crime prevention alerts, health advisories, environmental concerns, disease outbreaks, mass clinics and school closures due to snow or cold.
