Clark County man ordered to give up his gun for bringing it to work

CLARK COUNTY (WQOW) - A Clark County man is sentenced for bringing a gun to work. It happened in October at the industrial plant, Figi's, in Neillsville.

Angel Serenity was sentenced to serve three days in jail, all of which he has already served, on charges of carrying a concealed weapon.  He was also ordered to give up his gun.

The criminal complaint says he showed a female co-worker a handgun he pulled from his coat. That woman says Serenity told her he would, "Finally get fired that day." Serenity denied saying that and said he only brought the gun into work because he didn't want to leave it in his car.

The woman then left work and called police. Authorities say they found a 40-caliber handgun in Serenity's jacket and ammo in his pants pocket.
