Stevens Point (WAOW)--People of all ages gathered to commemorate Martin Luther King Junior on Sunday at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Stevens Point.
Children and other members of the congregation read King's "I have a dream Speech."
Members say it's especially important for kids to learn about King's work. " We especially want the young children in our fellowship to understand his legacy and to understand that the work that he started is not over, and that we must in our lives try to promote equality and justice for all people," says Michele Bjella of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
The service ended with pledge cards, where people wrote down their positive intentions.
