Wolfpup lacrosse program helps prepare youth for future in sport

(WAOW)- The Wausau Wolfpack lacrosse team is one of the top team's in the state playing one of the fastest growing sports in the United States. But area parents and players wondered how they would keep the sport growing right here in North Central Wisconsin. That led to the creation of the Wausau Wolfpups lacrosse program which helps area youth prepare for their futures in the sport. Coaches and players say this also helps for the level of competition to be that much greater when the kids reach the high school level.
