Team work and communication are key when it comes to being a cub scout. That's why some local scouts from the Rib Mountain district came out to exercise their skills at Camp Phillips in Weston.
It's the 27th annual Chuckwagon Skills Day competition. The boys travel along a trail and stop at 15 different stations where they have to either perform skills or pull their wagons over different obstacles.
One scout leader says it's an event the boys really look forward to.
Terry Gibbs Co-Chair of Chuckwagon says, "The boys get really excited about this, I overheard one mom comment on how her son woke her up at 3 am for chuck wagon cause he was so anxious to get here."
The competition ran all day from 9AM till 2:30PM followed by an award ceremony.
