WOOD COUNTY (WAOW)--Many Element Mobile customers are upset after they say they've been without cell phone coverage for several days.
Verizon recently bought out Alltel and in some areas services were changed over to Verizon but about 80,000 customers in our area were switched to Element Mobile.
Newsline talked to the COO of Element Mobile, Jerry Wilke, and he says that there were a few hiccups during the weekend changeover.
Wilke says many of the problems occurred after customers didn't trade their phones in for new Element mobile phones.
Various service problems occurred including cell, text and date outages.

Wilke expects the problems to be ironed out in the next week.
