Our partnership with the Green Bay Packers:

The Green Bay Packers, along with WAOW-TV, WYOW-TV, WFRV-TV, WTMJ-TV, WKOW-TV, WXOW-TV, WQOW-TV, WJMN-TV & WQDS-TV enter year five of a comprehensive broadcasting partnership recently extended through the 2011 season that provides year-round Packers programming, in addition to preseason games, to fans throughout Wisconsin and the upper Midwest.

Regarded as an NFL model for year-round brand extension, the partnership produces the most comprehensive and varied team programming in the Packers 78-year broadcasting history.

The Lambeau Field Atrium is the site of the Atrium Broadcast Center, a television studio that serves as a hub for regular on-site programming by partner TV stations, including news, sports and/or weather, throughout the year.

The broadcasting package includes:

• Televising, by CBS Sports and WFRV-TV in conjunction with Milwaukee's WTMJ-TV, Packers preseason games over a nine-station network throughout the state of Wisconsin, Upper Michigan and Northeastern Minnesota, with CBS network production, personnel and the latest network-quality technology.
• A top-notch broadcast team that includes CBS's Kevin Harlan calling the play-by-play alongside fellow CBS broadcaster Rich Gannon providing the analysis. WTMJ's Jessie Garcia serves as the sideline reporter and WFRV's Larry McCarren joins the crew for pre-game segments.
• An informative half-hour show prior to each preseason game.
• A half-hour preview show during training camp.
• A Packers Inside Lambeau show Thursday nights during the season, originating from Curly's Pub in the Lambeau Field Atrium, that includes player guests.
• A half-hour Holiday special highlighting the Packers' extensive and ongoing community relations efforts.

In addition to WAOW-TV & WYOW-TV, the network includes: WFRV-TV/CBS, Green Bay; WTMJ-TV/NBC, Milwaukee; WKOW-TV/ABC, Madison; WXOW-TV/ABC, La Crosse; WQOW-TV/ABC, Eau Claire; WJMN-TV/CBS, Marquette, Mich.; and KQDS-TV/FOX, Duluth, Minn.

The partnership also provides the Packers an opportunity to salute Wisconsin's high school athletes as well, through supporting messages during broadcasts of the WIAA basketball tournaments and other prep events.

Kevin Harlan, Play-by-Play Announcer
Has called regular-season games for CBS Sports since 1998 after four years with Fox (1994-97) and is regarded as one of the finest at his trade in the country. A veteran broadcaster, also "voices" NCAA Tournament basketball games for CBS, as well as NBA games for TNT. Owns a unique perspective on Packers football, having been raised in Green Bay.
Rich Gannon, Color Analyst
The 18-year NFL veteran and former league MVP enters his second year in the Packers' preseason television booth. He officially retired from football in 2005 and teamed with Harlan for CBS Sports NFL broadcasts; he will again be paired with Harlan during the 2007 regular season.
Larry McCarren, Pregame Analyst
Enjoyed a 12-year career at center in Green Bay (1973-84) and is a member of the Packers Hall of Fame. Is well known to Packers fans from his role as analyst on the Packers Radio Network, a position he's held since 1995. He also serves as co-host of The Mike McCarthy Show and previously co-hosted Inside 1265, the official television program of the Packers.
Jessie Garcia, Sideline Reporter
A Wisconsin native and 13-year veteran of WTMJ, is familiar to Packers fans in the state through her outstanding coverage of the team. She co-hosts The Mike McCarthy Show with McCarren, and previosly co-hosted Inside 1265, the official television program of the club. Prior to her tenure at WTMJ, she worked at WISC-TV in Madison, Wis. (1992-93).
