MERRILL (WAOW) - Merrill police say three teens are in custody after reports of a string car burglaries early Friday morning. Lt. Chris Hartwig said items believed taken from at least four separate car burglaries were recovered. The items included some audio speakers, he said. Hartwig said officers responded to a 5:30 a.m. report of burglaries and apprehended two 17-year-old boys and a 19-year-old man. BROKAW (WAOW) - The former Wausau Paper mill in Brokaw has been sold again. Niagara Worldwide LLC and its subsidiary Brokaw Development said Monday it sold the 50-acre site for an undisclosed amount.
