WAUSAU (WAOW) -- In addition to Rasmussen College, another private university will be opening its doors in Wausau.
Globe University will be located in the old Gander Mountain building and offer 2 and 4 year degrees.
A spokeswoman for the college says they focus on providing students with the skills and knowledge that employers are looking for.
Jeanne Herrmann says they use a hands-on approach to achieve that, "Anywhere from 800 to 1,000 students. Any time it gets over that we feel like we lose who we are and that individual personal touch that we like to have at our campuses."
When it opens next year, Globe University will be the college's 22nd campus.
