STEVENS POINT (WAOW) -- About 250 students who share a common goal met up in Stevens Point today.
This is the 18th annual at UW Stevens Point. The students gathered from across the state to share the research and projects they've been working on dealing with forestry.
Kelly Mortenson with UWSP's college of natural resources says, "They've attended three sessions all having to do with climate change, invasive species, land use issues, as well as careers."
The students also visited exhibits created by their peers.
It gave them an opportunity to showcase their work and learn from each other. Experts were also on hand to teach the students.
At the end of the conference, they voted on which of these exhibits they thought was the best.
