MADISON (AP) -- No-call violations again led the state's list of top 10 consumer violations last year.
State consumer protection officials say they received 2,187 complaints about no-call violations in 2009. No-call violations have led the top 10 complaint list every year since 2003, when a state law creating a no-call list went into effect. The list currently contains more than 2 million numbers.
Landlord and tenant issues was number two, followed by complaints about telecommunications providers, satellite dish billing and cost misrepresentations, home improvement, car sales, credit cards, car repairs, travel and Internet service providers.
