WAUSAU (WAOW)--Whether you're into gardening or boating organizers say the Sports & Recreation Show / Home & Garden Expo is the place to be this weekend.
60 vendors from across the area set up booths at Marathon Park in Wausau.
This is 9th year for the event and organizers say there's a little something for everyone. "It's like doing comparison shopping. They get to see designs that people have and how they have their booths set up and they kind of see things how they would look in their home," Said Bob Jung, the General Sales Manager at WSAU and WDEZ radio who hosts the event. "So there's opportunities to see things that they don't get to see at the other shows. And then for the sport and recreation guys, all the new toys are there."
The event is free and runs until 9:00 PM Friday night. You can also head out there on Saturday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
