Judge refuses to reduce bond in babysitter sex case

Posted:

WAUSAU (WAOW) -- A judge refused to reduce bond for the Marathon County woman accused of showing pornography to a child.

Stacey Conklin and her boyfriend Seneca Ryan were charged with exposing a 10-year-old to sexually explicit material.

They watched the child for a friend between July 8 and 10, according to police.

Investigators say they made the child watch pornographic movies and the couple having sex.

Conklin's attorney wanted the judge to reduce the cash bond. But the judge refused.

Conklin's cash bond remains at $15,000 and she remains jailed.

Her boyfriend, Seneca, posted his $15,000 bond and is out of jail.

They return to court in August.
