1 pound fresh asparagus, cut into 1 ½ inch pieces 1 garlic clove, minced 2 tablespoons butter ½ cup chicken broth 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
In a skillet, sauté the asparagus and garlic in butter for 2 minutes. Stir in broth; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 to 6 minutes or until asparagus is crisp-tender. Remove to a serving dish with a slotted spoon then sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve hot. Serves 4 to 5 people.
