MLB Players "spooked" by Pfister hotel

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Some Major League Baseball players say they've been spooked by spirits at Milwaukee's Historic Pfister Hotel while staying in town to play the Brewers.

According to Brendan Ryan of the St. Louis Cardinals, "It was more like a moving light that kind of passed through the room . It was very strange. The room got a little bit chillier."

The Pfister is a Milwaukee Landmark.  The elaborate, ornate hotel recently underwent a multi million dollar renovation.

A player for the Dodgers says he sleeps with a baseball bat when the team stays there and two players from the Florida Marlins demand to share a room after hearing odd noises.

Pfisters' spokesmen says any building more than 100 years old is going to have some squeaks and creeks, and the hotel manager insists, there are no spirits there.
