Chris finished 7th last year in the All-Star Challenge after having contact with Tony Stewart with 20 laps to go and having to restart at the back of the field. "I'm really looking forward to racing again at MIS. It is a fun track to race at and there are 2 racing grooves. It's fun to race against the NASCAR Stars There is always a stellar field here at Madison and the racing is really competitive."
Chris comes off a race last weekend at Illiana Speedway, The 8th Annual Elmer Musgrave, where the crew struggled with the car for the right setup. After practicing all day in the top 10 and qualifying 7th Chris started the race in the 7th starting position. After about 20 laps the handling went away on the car and Chris struggled with a loose/loose race car until the end of the race. He finished in a disappointing 17th place.
Qualifying for the Swiss Colony All-Star Challenge Series begins at 4pm and racing action gets under way at 7pm.
Chris's next ASA Midwest Tour race is Friday, July 3 at Hawkeye Downs Speedway in Cedar Rapids, IA. The "37th Annual Keith Fleck Miller100".
