Badgers football non-conference game times set

(PRESS RELEASE) - Madison, Wis. - Kickoff times for Wisconsin's first three football games have been set, the Big Ten Conference announced on Wednesday. The Badgers' home opener against Northern Illinois on Sept. 5 will begin at 6 p.m. CT (previously announced) while their games against Fresno State (Sept. 12) and Wofford (Sept. 19) will start at 11 a.m. CT.

The Northern Illinois game will be televised by the Big Ten Network, as will the game with Wofford. UW's matchup with Fresno State, a rematch of the Badgers' 13-10 win last year at Fresno, will be televised by either ESPN or ESPN2. That decision will be made following the games on Sept. 5.

Another game time that was previously announced is the Badgers' Homecoming matchup with rival Iowa on Oct. 17. That game will also kick off at 11 a.m. CT. Television coverage for that game is still to be determined.

Game times and television coverage for the remainder of Wisconsin's Big Ten games will be announced six or 12 days prior to the game.

UW's final regular-season game, at Hawaii on Dec. 5, will be televised by either ESPN or ESPN2 but the start time has not been determined.
