MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers are conducting their popular program that teaches the basics of baseball to women for a third straight season.
The Brewers are partnering with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's School of Continuing Education to offer "Brewers Baseball Basics for Women." The two-day instructional session sold out quickly in each of the previous two years. It's scheduled this year for Aug. 27 and Aug. 29.
The program's first night will be held at the downtown UWM School of Continuing Education and include assistant general manager Gord Ash and other Brewers personnel who'll share their experiences with the game.
On Saturday, Aug. 29, the 80 participants will have a full day of activities before a game that night. The cost of the program is $140.
