ST LOUIS (WAOW) - Former Wisconsin Woodchuck Ben Zobrist squeezed a pop-up to secure the American League's 4-3 win in the All-Star Game.
Zobrist made his first appearance in the Mid-Summer Classic. He struck out against Heath Bell in the 8th inning in his only at-bat. Then he took over at 2nd base.
Ben Zobrist played for the Woodchucks in 2003 and helped the squad win the Northwoods League title.
The American League's unbeaten streak extends to 13 games.
