Harrison Ford visits EAA's AirVenture Wednesday

OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) -- Actor Harrison Ford visits the Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture Wednesday, the third day of the aviation gathering in Oshkosh.

Ford is a longtime EAA supporter and chairman of EAA's Young Eagles program. It allows children ages 8-17 to ride in a private plane.

Highlights from the first two days include a first look at Virgin Galactic's WhiteKnightTwo or "Eve." It's expected to launch a spaceship with tourists into space. British billionaire and company founder Sir Richard Branson took a ride Tuesday and announced a deal to sell about a third of the company to a Mideast investment fund.

Also, the world's largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380, landed after a demonstration flight.
