GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- After enduring the Brett Favre unretirement circus last season, the Green Bay Packers are hoping for a delightfully drama-free training camp.
Favre is staying retired instead of joining division rival Minnesota -- for now, anyway -- leaving the Packers relatively free from distractions this year. Coach Mike McCarthy called the Favre situation "old news" on Friday.
McCarthy also is paying attention to a new way people get news. According to running back Ryan Grant, McCarthy will fine players who post to their Twitter accounts during team activities.
