MENOMONIE, Wis. (AP) -- Police say an argument at a party preceded the fatal shooting of three brothers and wounding of a fourth man in Menomonie.
Police Chief Wayne Stolpa says it appears the gunman targeted at least two of the victims during the argument about 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the Evergreen Isle Mobile Park.
Toua Kong, 32, Siong Kong, 25, and Seng Kong, 13, were fatally shot. A fourth person, Toua Xiong, 25, was wounded. The St. Paul, Minn., man, 23, then shot and critically wounded himself.
Stolpa said Siong and Toua Kong apparently were targeted by the gunman, while Seng Kong and Xiong likely were struck because they were near the older Kong brothers.
The police chief says the suspect was an invited guest at the party.
