by Team Coverage

NORTH-CENTRAL WISCONSIN (WAOW) -- The mother of a teen who has gone missing says it is unlike her daughter not to make contact with anyone.

Hope Sprenger spoke with Newsline 9's Colby Robertson this morning.

Sprenger says her daughter, Kayla, is a "good kid who always checks in."

Kayla was last seen by friends when she was dropped off at a house in near Colonial Manor in Wausau.

If you have any information about Kayla Berg, you are asked to call the Langlade County Sheriff's Department at 627-6411.

NORTH-CENTRAL WISCONSIN (WAOW) -- Police continue their search for a missing teen.

Kayla Berg, 15, was last seen Tuesday, August 11.

Antigo Police Chief, Eric Roller, says Berg was not originally listed as a missing person because she has had contact with others since her disappearance.

Since Berg has not made contact with anyone in the past three days, she is now considered endangered-missing.

Woller tells Newsline 9's Colby Robertson that Berg had previously made contact with some friends up until the last three days.

Woller also says it's difficult to track Berg because she does not have a phone.

Colby Robertson is on her way to speak with Berg's mother, and will keep you updated on WAOW.com.
