GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Green Bay Packers safety Atari Bigby is being evaluated for a potential knee sprain and his availability for Sunday's home game against Cincinnati is unclear.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy says the team's medical staff "feels good" about Bigby's injury but hasn't provided a timeline for his return. Bigby was hurt in Sunday's 21-15 victory over Chicago.
Bigby provided a hard-hitting presence during the Packers' playoff run two seasons ago, but played in only seven games in an injury-plagued 2008. Aaron Rouse likely would start in his place.
Overall, the Packers defense played well in its first game with the 3-4 alignment.
