MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Marquette guard Junior Cadougan is expected to miss the season after injuring his Achilles' tendon during conditioning.
The team says Friday that the 6-foot-1 freshman from Toronto will undergo surgery on his right foot in the coming days after hurting himself Thursday afternoon and will need 4 to 6 months to rehab the injury.
Cadougan averaged 22 points, eight assists, five rebounds and four steals at Christian Life Center Academy in Humble, Texas last season and was expected to compete for playing time at point guard for Marquette this year.
