Last week I had the opportunity to attend the 2009 World Dairy Expo in Madison. People from all over the United States and the world travel to the event! Since I am a novice at everything to do with the industry and cows it was quite an experience for me. I spoke with many different producers, showers and businesses on everything from weather, to traveling to being at the event. One thing I was interested in his how the animals can handle the different climates and different weather. I have put together a package about two top states in the dairy industry, California and Wisconsin, and their differences involving weather.
Next week I will talk about how people travel with Dairy cows from Canada.
