SHAWANO, Wis. (AP) -- The Shawano man charged with setting the fire that killed his ex-wife has pleaded no contest to amended charges.
Prosecutors say Michael Schutt ignited the house fire that took the life of Dawn Schutt, 49, in August 2008. Her son Zach, 18, was also home at the time, he managed to escape with minor injuries.
Schutt pleaded no contest in a plea agreement with prosecutors Wednesday. Sentencing is set for January.
