RACINE, Wis. (AP) -- Racine County prosecutors say a teen who died of a heroin and cocaine overdose learned how to use the drugs from his mother.
Patricia Strosina, 46, of Burlington has been charged with intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child causing death. The charge carries a maximum prison sentence of 25 years.
Her 16-year-old son, Raymond, was found dead Sept. 14. The criminal complaint says Raymond's father found him slumped over his desk, and a syringe lying on the floor.
Investigators say witnesses have reported seeing the mother administer drugs to her son.
A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 29.
