STEVENS POINT (WAOW) - An administrator at St. Peter's Middle School in Stevens Point says a seventh-grade boy collapsed and died in school on Tuesday morning. Administrator Todd Kuckkahn said Wednesday that no circumstances surrounding the death of Joey Miller were being released other than he died in school. St. Peter's is a Roman Catholic school. "We are shocked and saddened," Kuckkahn said. "We trust that God in his infinite wisdom will walk with us in our grief."More >>

WAKE UP WISCONSIN (WAOW)-- When you entertain this holiday season, there are certain recommendation about your pet to keep in mind.

Make sure you let your guests know they should not feed your pet table food. Turkey bones can break apart and be fatal, keep animals away from hot oil if you deep fry your turkey. Also, Dolores tells us not to give your pets raw veggies, because they can be difficult to digest.

Check with your guests to see if anyone is allergic. Dolores recommends putting a sign up in your home and keeping your pets in a room. She also says, you can give your guests doggy treats to feed your pet, so they don't beg.

Dolores recommends feeding pets 15-20 minutes prior to your party, so animals are filled up. Also, make sure to take the garage out promptly so animals don't get into it.
