STEVENS POINT (WAOW)-  The top ranked Pointer men's basketball has now won ten straight games after Saturday's 19 point win over Oshkosh.

That making Stevens Point 17-1 on the year, and that only loss, coming to 5th ranked UW-Whitewater.

And that is exactly the team the Pointers welcome to Quandt Fieldhouse tomorrow night as the team looks for some revenge.

Point tells you defense has drastically improved since the last time they met the Warhawks.

And the guys couldn't be more excited about round two.

Says Head Coach Bob Semling, "There will be a tremendous energy in the air, and I always tell the guys, this is your reward for the sacrifices and the things that they do in the offseason, this is their reward to play in these big games because there is a special feeling in the air."

Says Senior Matt Moses, "I know the community is pretty excited, I expect the place to be filled up, for all the fans out there, please come show your support, and we are amped up for this game. We know we need to pull through tomorrow, get everybody going."

Says Senior Louis Hurd, "The intensity will be up and I hope the younger guys get a sense of what this means, Whitewater is a big rivalry for us so it should be an exciting game."
