LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Divers have recovered the body of Craig Meyers from the Mississippi River. La Crosse Police confirmed the recovery around 510pm at the scene.
According to reports, the body was found in about 20 feet of water roughly 15 feet from shore near where a set of footprints led out onto the river.

Earlier this afternoon, Western Technical College is reporting that a body matching the description of Craig Meyers was found earlier today.
The college sent out a Twitter message around 4:30pm that a body was found.
"With great sadness we share that a body matching Craig's description has been found. Tonight's event will be a celebration of Craig's life."
Divers have searched for the last two days for missing college student Craig Meyers. He was last seen early Sunday morning. Earlier today, based on a video camera recording downtown, a tracking dog trailed Meyers' scent to the river.
