OUTAGAMIE COUNTY (AP) -- The FBI and local authorities are investigating a report about a potential bomb that prompted a brief evacuation at the Outagamie County Regional Airport in Greenville.
Flights were delayed and about 100 people were evacuated after police received a report shortly after 8 a.m. Sunday that a bomb may have been placed on the property.
Airport Director Marty Lenss tells the Appleton Post-Crescent that a search found no bomb and the airport resumed normal operations about 9:30 a.m.
He says the evacuated employees and passengers were first sent to the terminal parking area, then gathered indoors at a business on the airport grounds.
