Wis. teacher on leave after alleged threat

OREGON (AP) -- A teacher in the Oregon School District is on administrative leave after allegedly making a threat involving the use of a weapon at the middle school.

The threat was allegedly made Friday during a phone conversation.

Superintendent Brian Busler sent an e-mail to parents Monday, saying the teacher is on a leave of absence. Busler says the school district is investigating, and spent Monday talking to several teachers who felt targeted.

Busler says the district is taking precautionary measures, and that officials are confident the middle school is safe.

Busler's e-mail did not identify the teacher.
