WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) - The Wisconsin teen convicted of using a Facebook scam to blackmail his classmates for sex acts will soon know his sentence.
Nineteen-year-old Anthony Stancl (STAN'-sihl) of New Berlin (BUR'-lin) pleaded no contest in December to two felonies, including repeated sexual assault of a child.
He faces up to 50 years in prison when he's sentenced Wednesday afternoon. Prosecutors have said they'll recommend a "substantial" sentence.
Stancl is accused of posing as a girl on Facebook and tricking more than 30 male classmates into sending him naked photos of themselves, then using the photos to blackmail them for sex.
Defense attorney Craig Kuhary (koo-HAYR'-ee) has not returned repeated telephone messages seeking comment.
