Homicide touches 4 generations of Milwaukee family

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A Milwaukee woman killed last week witnessed a man fatally stab her mother and grandmother 17 years ago.

The bodies of 24-year-old Rachel Thompson, 4-year-old Torian Thompson-Carter and 3-year-old Jaden Thompson-Carter were found Friday after a small fire at a Milwaukee duplex. Nineteen-year-old Brittney Robertson also lived at the house and was found shot to death later in the day at another residence.

Thompson's 6-week-old son Maurice Visor was also taken but found unharmed later Friday at a church.

Police believe Robertson was involved in the deaths of Thompson and the children.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that in 1993, then-6-year-old Rachel Thompson had to testify that she watched her mother's boyfriend kill her mother and grandmother.

Police Chief Ed Flynn plans a news conference later Monday.
