Redd scheduled to have surgery on injured left knee
MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Redd is scheduled to have surgery on his injured left knee Tuesday.
The veteran is out for the season after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament in a game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Jan. 10 -- the second major injury to his left knee in less than a year. Redd also tore the same two ligaments last January.
Also Monday, the NBA has named Bucks coach Scott Skiles the Eastern Conference coach of the month for February. Skiles led the Bucks to a 10-4 record in the month, including a six-game winning streak.
