Milwaukee police say five arrested in Milwaukee duplex fire
MILWAUKEE (AP)-- Milwaukee police have arrested five people in the homicides of two women and two children found dead after a fire at a Milwaukee duplex.
Police Chief Edward Flynn announced the arrests during a news conference Monday. The bodies of 23 year-old Rachel Thompson, 4 year-old Torian Thompson-Carter and 3 year-old Jaden Thompson-Carter were found Friday in the duplex. Nineteen-year-old Brittney Robertson also lived at the house and was found shot to death later that day at another residence.
Thompson's six week-old son Maurice Visor was taken but found unharmed Friday at a church.
Flynn did not identify the suspects. They have not been formally charged. Police believe Robertson was also involved in the deaths of Thompson and the children.
