MENOMONIE (AP) -- A state crime lab report says the bullets that killed four people and wounded a fifth in last summer's shooting at a Menomonie trailer park came from the same gun.
Police say Geu Tou Vang was the sole gunman who took the lives of three brothers before killing himself following a dispute at a family gathering Aug 15 at the Evergreen Isle Trailer Park in Menomonie. Thirty-two-year-old Toua Kong, 25-year-old Siong Kong and 13-year-old Seng Kong were fatally shot. Their cousin, 25-year-old Toua Xiong, suffered a bullet wound, but survived.
Police say the 23-year-old Vang showed up at the party as a date of the brothers' sister and the shooting erupted within minutes of a brief argument outside regarding a bottle of alcohol.
Authorities say there's no evidence to show the shooting was premeditated.
