Hospital's decorative water wall identified as source of Legionnaires

CUDAHY, Wis. (AP) -- A hospital's decorative water wall is identified as the source of Legionnaires' disease that sickened at least eight people in southeastern Wisconsin.

Aurora Health Care has shut down the waterfall at St. Luke's South Shore in Cudahy and about five other health care facilities in Wisconsin.

State health officer Seth Foldy says other hospitals that have waterfalls should consider turning them off as well.

WTMJ radio reports two of the eight people who contracted Legionnaires in the last several weeks remain hospitalized.
