We will open with brief description of Smart Recovery, followed by speakers, and ending with a Q/A session. Smart Recovery has made this available to all local high schools.

At Teen Awareness night Smart recovery would like the community to become aware of the rise of teen addictions. Not only limited to alcohol and drugs.

Through this night we are going to examine the issues, offer solutions(SMART RECOVERY), and make the teen and parent aware of physical, mental, and legal problems that can occur with addictions.

Even if they don't choose Smart Recovery as an option, both parent and teen are aware of consequences, and can address the issue, and get on a path to recovery. At Smart we feel this can benefit Wausau greatly as a community. Addressing the teen issue can help save an individual, family, and prevent long term problems.
