Brewers and White Sox play to 4-4 tie in spring training game
PHOENIX (AP) -- The Chicago White Sox and Milwaukee Brewers played to a 4-all after 10 innings on Sunday.
After the Brewers grabbed a 4-2 lead, the White Sox tied it with a two-run seventh inning. The second run came on Jordan Danks' delayed steal of home after Josh Kroeger broke from first base to steal second.
Milwaukee left-hander Randy Wolf gave up hits to the first three batters, and two runs, but settled down the rest of the way to finish his five-inning stint in good shape. He allowed seven hits, no walks and struck out two.
Chicago's Freddy Garcia had a decent outing but was beaten up by Brewers All-Star Ryan Braun, who had a two-run home run in the first inning and a RBI single in the third. Overall
Garcia went 5-plus innings, allowing five hits with no walks and four strikeouts.
