Unexpected deaths of 2 teens prompts investigation

OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) -- A coroner in eastern Wisconsin is investigating the unexpected deaths of two teenagers who died after brief illnesses this month.

Winnebago County Coroner Barry Busby says preliminary autopsy results show 17-year-old Kyle Stenberg died from a bacterial infection. The Oshkosh North High School student died Saturday.

Sixteen-year-old Megan Corinne Hanson died March 11 after a brief illness.

Busby tells the Oshkosh Northwestern Hanson died of natural causes, but the specific reason for her death is under investigation.
