Kathryn Sabota, age 99, of Whiting, died late Saturday evening, March 27, 2010, at Wellington Place.
She was born Jan. 16, 1911, in Stevens Point to the late Steven and Mary (Bungert) Harrer and was a graduate of Emerson High School. On June 1, 1935, she married Robert Sabota at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point. Robert died on March 21, 1993.
Kathryn was a homemaker and a member of the St. Bronislava Rosary Society for over 50 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice (Dan) Schulfer of Plover; son, Donald (Nancy) Sabota of Rhinelander; four grandchildren, Ken (Kathy) Sabota of St. Paul, MN, Eugene (Lou Ann) Schulfer of Custer, Dale (Crystal) Schulfer of Stevens Point, and Susan (Keith) Hoffman of Stevens Point; and nine great-grandchildren, Bobby and Jesse Sabota, Jacob Schulfer, Zachary Schulfer, Cole Schulfer, Mason Schulfer, Kaleigh Hoffman, Samantha Hoffman and Cassidy Hoffman.
In addition to her parents and husband, Kathryn was preceded in death by five brothers.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover with the Rev. James Trempe officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
