Mary Anne Goetsch, age 73, died Monday, March 29, 2010 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

She was born in Sheldon, WI on November 19, 1936 to the late Elmer P. and Mabel (Clark) Moffit. She married Elroy Goetsch on June 25, 1972 he died Jan. 28, 2010.

Mary Anne retired after 28 yrs. with Wausau Papers.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially time with her grandchildren as well as traveling, reading and working crossword puzzles.

Survivors include one son, Jeffrey (Mary Beth) Connor, Denver CO; three daughters, Pamela Connor-Pierce, Guatemala, Tammy (Randy) Wolfe, Wausau and Peggy (Jack Egner) Connor, Wausau; one step-son, Timothy (Mina) Goetsch, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada; one step-daughter, Karen (Donald) Grade, Mosinee; three grandchildren, Jason (Lee) Russell, Appleton, Josh (Monica) Russell, Long Beach, Calif. and Sarah Connor, Seattle, WA;  three step-grandchildren, Joel (Ingrid) Grade, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Tiffany Grade, McFarland, and Philippe Inacio-Goetsch, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; three great-grandchildren, Kyle and Tyler Russell and Gabe Connor; two great step-grandchildren, Ryan and Mia Grade.

Preceded in death by a grandson Cedrick Olson, sisters, Ethel, Ruby and Marie and brothers, Lowell and Donald.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 501 Stewart Ave. Wausau.  Rev. Gary Schultz will officiate.   Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Saturday.

Brainard Funeral Home, Wausau, is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Alzheimers Association, Greater Wisconsin Chapter, 2900 Curry Lane Suite A, green Bay, WI. 54311

The family would like to thank Kennedy Park Medical & Rehabilitation Center staff as well as the Harbor House staff for the compassionate care given to our mom.
