WESTON (WAOW) -- Area bowlers took to the lanes for a special cause Saturday at Dale's Weston Lanes.
It was the 9 Pin Easter Tournament to raise money for the Jason Elliot Memorial Fund. Jason is the son of Weston Lanes owner Dale. He was killed in a car accident when he was 16. Since then, teams have been coming out to raise money at the tournament. All proceeds go towards youth bowling programs and scholarships.
"It's one day, a lot of fun," explained Bowling Manager Jared Clairmore. "Even after the bowling, there's food and music in the bar. It's a crazy night, a crazy time."
Dozens of teams turned out to roll in this year's tournament.
